Features: An Evening with Cindy

On Wednesday 3^rd May 2006 members from CAS and The Crossroads Network Forum met up at the Wortley House Hotel in Scunthorpe to welcome Cindy Marshall-Day as the patron of the Crossroads Network.

The event was a great success which was attended by many very happy fans. Highlights from the evening included a Q&A session with Cindy and a chance to watch and discuss Episode 1 of Crossroads 2001 with the lady herself. Fans also had the chance to look at rare scripts, photographs, costumes and props from the series which were brought along by CAS members. Cindy also brought along special guests “DJ” and Princess Topanga (the dog), and (hangovers aside) a great time was had by all.

Once Cindy had left the event the Network Forum members continued to party the night away until 6 a.m.

On a personal note I’d like to thank Droitwitch Lloyd from the forum for organising the event and of course Cindy for giving up so much of her time and giving us many memories of a lovely evening.
